Data Warehouse (DWH)
Data Warehouse is a collection of data in support of management’s decision making process. It is developed for Business Intelligence in the healthcare of South Africa. This system is used for reporting and data analysis.
The following list of reports can be generated:
- SSRS reports: Monthly Performance Report, Weekly Operational Report, Business Insights Report, Business Insights Bureau Report, Business Insights Report—Patient Liable;
- Power BI reports: Sales Dashboard, Business Consultant View, Doctor View—Practice Overview, Doctor View—Clinical Overview, Doctor Dashboard These are cube based reports. The main DB (the base for the cube) is MS SQL Server 2012, is using 1 Tb space on a drive.
The cube in RAM is using 120 Gb. The sources for the data which are used in the cube during ETL: MySQL, MS SQL, CSV files, Excel files, FTP server, Dropbox, OData. The biggest table in the cube is 250 million rows.
